I like to precook my meat in the oven and then finish off on the grill for that Smokey flavor. You can however cook the wings entirely on the grill and still have the same great results.
If using an outdoor grill to finish your wings light your BBQ when you preheat your oven to ensure its hot enough by the time you are ready to put your wings on it. I usually give it half an hour to heat up.
Season wings 24 hours prior to cooking with Kay’s All ways Every day seasoning – and refrigerate.
Preheat oven to 400 F degrees. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Place all the wings in a medium sized bowl. Drizzle the seasoned wings with the olive oil and toss well, making sure each wing is coated with a bit of olive oil.
Place the wings in the oven and cover with foil to keep the moisture in and cook for 30 minutes. The juices should be clear as an indication that the chicken is cooked.
Place your cooked wings into a clean bowl and rub Kay's Twisted Peri marinade onto the wings. Be careful they will be hot!
The outdoor BBQ grill should now be hot, and you can place the marinated wings on. As the chicken is already cooked through this won’t take long to finish.
Turn the wings over a 10-minute period to ensure they get a nice even finish. Once on the grill when going crispy you can brush more marinade over the wings if you want them to stay slightly moist.
